Everyone is free to kill you whilst you are in negative karma, you are permanently flagged up and will lose more karma if you defend yourself. You can slowly get karma back by killing monsters.
How do I get rid of negative karma in BDO?
Go to sausan or Shultz beach and grind those mobs. You can easily go from 1m negative to positive in an hour or so with karma scroll. If you’re somewhere around -250k, you can achieve positive in 20-30 minutes without a scroll.

You don’t lose silver or gold when you die in red or black zones. The silver that drops when you die is system generated (I think it’s 10% of the cost of repairing your equipment) and not taken from your inventory. So there’s really no need to bank it.
What does PK mean BDO?
It’s the same thing as saying “murder” in real life as opposed to “kill somebody”. PK is like saying murder in BDO, where your intent was to kill somebody. If you self defend yourself against a “PK” you don’t call yourself one.
